Accreditations demonstrate our university's commitment to develop and sustain high standards of quality and effectiveness. Accrediting, or reviewing, bodies follow strict processes. Each are unique in their requirements but generally consider standards of teaching and learning, improving educational effectiveness through on going research and feedback, using data to inform decision making, planning and improvement and developing systems and processes which ensure institutional rigour.

UAE Ministry of Education and CAA

Amity University Dubai has been granted an institutional licensure from UAE's Ministry of Education through the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA). The Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) is the UAE Federal Government Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

Amity University Dubai is now a member of The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Business Education Alliance. The AACSB provides an international seal of approval for business programmes that ensures the educational needs of students are met through high quality, continuous improvement and excellence in education.

WASC Senior College and University Commission

WASC is a regional accrediting agency that serves a diverse membership of both public and private higher institutions throughout Hawaii, the Pacific, California and a few institutions outside of the United States. Amity University Dubai was the first private university in the UAE to receive an accreditation from WASC.

The Quality Assurance Agency

The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) safeguard standards and improves the quality of UK higher education wherever it is delivered around the world. They check that students working towards a UK qualification get the higher education they are entitled to expect. Amity University Dubai was the first university to be successfully reviewed in the UAE.

Knowledge and Human Development Authority

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) is responsible for the development, growth and overall quality of private education in Dubai. Their purpose is to support schools, universities, parents, educators, students, investors and government partners in an effort to create an education sector of the highest quality standards, that’s also focused on happiness and wellbeing. The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) conducted their first ranking for branch universities in Dubai in 2019. Amity University Dubai received a 5 star ranking in a range of core categories including teaching, facilities, innovation, programme strength and more.

University Grants Commission (UGC)

Amity Universities and the degrees awarded by us are recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) assesses and accredits higher education institutions in India as an autonomous body funded by the University Grants Commission. Amity University Dubai is proudly rated A+.
