Amity University Dubai's campus is equipped with multiple mechanisms to ensure the safety of students, residents and staff. These measures include a blend of human and automated systems. The security team includes male and female security officers who man the campus round the clock. Student residence entrances and elevators are access controlled to prevent unauthorized access. 

The UAE has a low crime rate and strict laws have been set in place to ensure the safety of residents, locals, and visitors. This has contributed to Dubai becoming a popular destination for undergraduate and post-graduate students looking to move to a modern and cosmopolitan city of opportunities and a promised growth.

Tips to keep you safe at all times

• If you’re going for a jog or walk, try not to listen to loud music as it will prevent you from hearing incoming vehicles or foot traffic.
• Always be aware of your surroundings.
• If you see anyone suspicious, report them to campus security.
• Avoid texting while walking, this could distract you from your immediate surroundings.
• Never let strangers into the campus or your residence.
• If possible, always tell a roommate where you are going and when they can expect you back.
• Before going out, make sure your phone is charged in case you need to make an emergency call.
