At the intersection of technology, business, and education stands Dr Avinash B.M. — a scholar, strategist, and practitioner who translates complex digital disruptions into actionable strategies for organisations and future leaders. With a PhD in Business Administration and over 24 years of experience spanning Business, Information Technology, and Supply Chain Management — including 18 years in interdisciplinary teaching, consulting, and applied research across Asia and Central Asia — he brings a 360-degree perspective shaped by decades at the crossroads of academia, industry, and international thought leadership.

As a full-time Assistant Professor at Amity University Dubai's Business School, Dr Avinash teaches across a diverse portfolio spanning Supply Chain Management and Operations, Global Sourcing & Negotiation, Supply Chain Strategy, Inventory Planning & Warehousing, Operations Management & Control and E-Commerce. His pedagogy is rooted in case-based, experiential learning that challenges students to engage critically with real-world business problems and produce research of genuine societal and economic value — building analytical thinking, leadership, and future-ready employability skills.

Before academia, he built substantial industry experience in IT consulting and enterprise technology, delivering ERP implementations and digital transformation solutions for organisations across diverse sectors—an experience that continues to shape his industry-connected approach to teaching and curriculum design.

An internationally recognised Resource Speaker, Dr Avinash has addressed several global platforms on topics ranging from Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0 to Explainable AI and Blockchain-enabled smart supply chains. His published research and current work explore how Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Blockchain can drive organisational productivity, supply chain transformation, and inclusive economic growth — and he welcomes collaborations in research, consulting, and academic partnerships.
