Students are always welcome to come to us for support regarding social, emotional, personal and behavioural problems.
We aim to professionally and ethically guide students through an interactive process of increasing self-understanding and developing positive behaviour, while encouraging critical thinking and healthy decision-making.
We are an inclusive service, providing support to a wide range of clients, including those with special education needs and disabilities. We offer various types of support including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Behavioural Activation, Family Therapy, Group, Individual Therapy and Positive Psychology Coaching.

This is another great initiative from the Counselling and Well-being Centre, where students are encouraged to write one thing that makes them happy and pin it to the tree.
Students can find the Happiness Tree outside of the counselling room and are very welcome to chat to the counsellors at any time if they’d like to discuss pressing issues or have concerns they’d like to raise.
The centre offers a range of well-being workshops and volunteer opportunities to students and staff. We also run awareness events and bring in key speakers to help with overall well-being. The Counselling and Wellness Centre has created links with various community centres around Dubai, by raising awareness, fundraising and helping at charity events.
