Happiness Tree

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai aims to make Dubai among the happiest countries in the world. To reach this goal, a Happiness Agenda has been put into place to ensure the happiness of Dubai’s residents and visitors. In line with, and to honour this pledge, we have implemented our Happiness Tree as an initiative to drive happiness and positivity as a lifestyle throughout Amity University.

Developed by the Counselling and Well-being Centre of Amity University Dubai, the Happiness Tree is an initiative where students are encouraged to write one thing that makes them happy and pin it to the tree. This has been incredibly successful as the tree has grown immensely. Positivity is infectious, and the more we continue to grow our Happiness Tree, the more inspired and motivated students will feel.

Where is the Happiness Tree?

It can be found outside of the counselling room and students are always welcome to chat to the counsellors at any time if they’d like to discuss pressing issues or have concerns they’d like to raise.

Here are a few quotes from our tree to inspire you:

“My happiness is God and family.”
Shama

“My happiness is my family and my friends, even chocolates and ice cream. J”
