Criteria:

Applicants with M. Tech / M.E. / M.S. qualification with a minimum of 60% marks or with minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or equivalent grade point average and with minimum of 60% aggregate in Xth, XIIth and B. Tech / B.E. will be considered eligible for admission to PhD programmes in Engineering and Technology.

Why pursue your PhD?

The PhD programme is offered in two modes – full-time and part-time. This programme is not offered in a distance learning mode. Hence, coursework, participation in various interactions, submission of progress reports through presentations etc. on a regular basis is mandatory during the programme. 

PhD full-time is for a minimum of 3 years and PhD part-time is for a minimum of 4 ½ years. Maximum duration in case of both the modes is 6 years. Amity encourages interdisciplinary research and exchange of ideas and knowledge in various related fields.
