Transport Services

Students living in Dubai and Sharjah can use the University’s bus service that picks up students in the morning and drops them off in the evening. The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) have public buses from Karama, Rashidya, International City, Silicon Oasis and all key areas around Dubai that come to Amity University. Taxis are also easy available from most parts of the city and now students can even use online apps like Uber and Careem to book rides.

The Dubai Metro is a great way to travel

The Dubai Metro is reliable and cost-effective, with thousands of commuters using it to travel around the city everyday. The metro has designated sections for women and children along with facilities for those with special needs and a Gold Class section for a more comfortable journey. Students living in Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach Residences can use the Dubai Tram which is connected to the DAMAC Metro Station and the Jumeirah Lake Towers Metro Station.

Fares are reasonable and metro trains are frequent. Trains arrive every 4 minutes on average during peak hours and every 7 minutes during off-peak hours.

The Dubai Metro is now open from 5 am until midnight on weekdays, making it safe and convenient for students to study and take on part-time work in the city.
