The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree at Amity University Dubai provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of mechanical engineering. The degree also offers practical knowledge of concepts and their applications through state-of-the-art labs, which feature the latest machinery used throughout various industries, including a Machines shop, Welding shop, Foundry shop, Sheet Metal shop, and Fitting shop. By utilising the lab, Amity University Dubai students can gain expertise in using machines, equipment, tools, and measuring instruments.
Graduates with a degree in mechanical engineering are well-equipped for various industries, including aerospace, automotive, biomedical, construction and building, manufacturing, power, and process. This is due to the versatile and diverse nature of mechanical engineering as a field, which focuses on the study of objects and systems in motion.
Mechanical Engineers are problem solvers who design, develop, build, and test mechanical devices, tools, engines, and machines across multiple industries such as automotive, aerospace, biotechnology, computer and electronics, automation, and manufacturing.
Mechanical Engineers design power-producing machines, such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, steam and gas turbines, and power-using machines, such as refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. They also design other machines inside buildings, such as elevators and escalators.

Student can opt for general Mechanical Engineering degree or with a concentration in Renewable Energy.
On successful completion of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering programme, the graduate will be able to:

- Use concepts and applications of renewable energy to identify, formulate, and solve energy problems.
- Design renewable energy systems to produce solutions that meet specified needs with sustainable, environmental, and economic factors.
