Dr Afreen Arif is an assistant professor of statistics at Amity Business School. She's well-versed in mathematics and statistics and has taught various courses to undergraduate and graduate students.


After completing her doctoral studies at Mangalore University, where she focused on optimising portfolio returns, she pursued post-doctoral research at UAE University. During her time there, she delved into forecasting macroeconomic variables, showcasing her expertise in the field.


Dr Afreen's research skills and dedication haven't gone unnoticed. For her outstanding research, she received the prestigious INSPIRE fellowship from the government of India. Additionally, in 2013, the Indian Society for Probability and Statistics honoured her with the Young Statistician Award, recognising her contributions to the statistical community.
