Dr Ahmed Al Haddad is the Programme Leader for Master of Science in Forensic Sciences at the School of Humanities, Arts & Applied Sciences (HAAS) at Amity University Dubai. A highly respected Emirati academic and industry expert in the field of Forensic Science, Dr Al Haddad brings extensive experience to the university.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Forensic Sciences from Lincoln University in the UK, specialising in Forensic Document Examination.
Having served in various capacities within the Abu Dhabi Police for over 27 years, including as the Head of the Forensic Document Section, Dr Al Haddad rose to the rank of Brigadier before retiring. Even post-retirement, he continued contributing to the field as a court-certified forensic expert and lecturer at prestigious institutions such as the Abu Dhabi Police College and Rabdan Academy.
Throughout his career, Dr Al Haddad has received numerous awards, including the Minister of Interior Award for Scientific Researches, the Rashid Scientific Excellence Award, and the UAE Pioneers Award for being the first Emirati researcher in the UAE to obtain a PhD in Forensic Questioned Document Examination.
