Dr. Amr Abdelaty is an Assistant Professor of Engineering Mathematics at Amity University Dubai, with over nine years of teaching experience in Egypt and the UAE. He has taught various courses, including calculus, differential equations, complex analysis, and fractional calculus. He is experienced in curriculum development and was an active organiser for the Nile University Undergraduate Research Forum.
Dr. Amr's main research interest is fractional calculus and its applications across fields like bio-impedance, energy systems, and microgrid control. He has over 50 publications and received the Best PhD Thesis Award from Fayoum University in 2021 and the Oliviu Gherman Award in 2020. He is a senior member of IEEE and a reviewer for several international journals.
