Dr. Gursirat Singh, an assistant professor in the Forensic Science department at Amity University Dubai, brings a wealth of practical and academic experience to his role, with an MD degree in Forensic Medicine and an MBBS from Govt. Medical College Patiala, India. 

He has worked as a Junior Resident and Senior Resident at esteemed institutions such as Govt. Medical College Amritsar and Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, India. Dr. Singh joined Amity University Dubai in 2020 and serves as the Head of Industry Relations for the School of Humanities, Arts & Applied Sciences.

With eight years of teaching experience in forensic science, Dr. Singh has actively engaged undergraduates and postgraduate students in the subject. His practical expertise is extensive, having conducted over 3000 autopsies and an equal number of medicolegal examinations. His experience encompasses a broad range of cases, including homicides, suicides, domestic and child abuse, sexual assaults, poisonings, drug/alcohol abuse, age estimation, and analysis of skeletal remains.  

Dr. Singh has contributed to crime scene investigations and has served as an expert witness, providing testimony in various courts. He maintains active membership in several Forensic Medicine societies in India.
