Dr. Lamiaa Adel Shaheen is an accomplished architect, academic, and researcher with a Ph.D. in Architecture. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Amity University Dubai in the Architecture and Interior Design Department, specializing in sustainable design and human-centric spaces. Her expertise in the field has earned her international recognition, including the prestigious UAE Golden Visa in the "Qualified Professionals and Exceptional Talents" category. She was also recognized as a columnist in 2024 by the Abayomi Academy and awarded second place in their International Award for the Physical Space category.
In addition, Dr. Lamiaa secured funding for a research project as the Principal Investigator for the Oman Research Portal, supported by the TRC. Her work continues to shape the future of architecture and interior design, focusing on innovation and pushing boundaries in design practices.
