Dr. Meghry Nazarian is a published educator and an English language teacher with over 12 years of expertise in teaching, research, and educational leadership. Dr. Meghry is a full-time Assistant Professor at Amity University Dubai’s HAAS Department. She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership & Policy Studies in Education from UAE University, where she was awarded a prestigious graduate fellowship. Dr. Nazarian also earned her Master’s degree in Teaching English for Foreign Language Learners (TEFL) from Aleppo University, Syria.
Throughout her career, Dr. Nazarian has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering academic excellence and promoting innovative teaching practices. She has developed curriculum frameworks that integrate modern pedagogical practices and support diverse learning needs. She has designed and delivered several academic workshops to undergraduate and graduate students at UAE University. Her teaching philosophy revolves around student-centred approach, 21st century skills, and cross-cultural understanding, preparing learners to thrive in diverse and dynamic educational environments.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Nazarian is actively engaged in research focusing on organizational behaviour, organizational identification, cultural intelligence, cultural sameness, soft leadership, employee well-being, and employee voice/silence.
Dr. Nazarian has published in peer-reviewed SCOPUS-indexed journals and is a reviewer for the International Journal of Organizational and Collective Intelligence (IJOCI). Her contributions to interdisciplinary research have earned her invitations to national and international conferences, including AERA in USA, BERA in the UK, ECER in Glasgow, IGSW in Singapore, and SSHSRC in the UAE.
Dr. Nazarian is deeply passionate about lifelong learning and is an active member of the Gathering Readers reading club since 2020.
