Dr. Nrashant Singh is an Associate Professor of Forensic Science and Head of Academics at the School of Humanities, Arts & Applied Sciences (HAAS) at Amity University Dubai.  He holds a PhD in Toxicology from the Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR), Lucknow, and Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. Dr. Singh's research interests focus on exposure to environmental toxicants and related oxidative stress that can lead to health risks among non-occupationally and occupationally exposed populations. He is an expert in animal biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, and immunotoxicity, with experience in pathology and genotoxicity assessment.

Dr. Singh's commitment to research is reflected in his numerous publications in various reputable SCI/Scopus Indexed journals and presentations at conferences at the national and international levels. He has filed patents for multiple devices, including a Blood Detection Device and an Eco-Friendly, Sustainable Face Mask, and has two petitions under review for Soil Quality Monitoring Devices for Agriculture and GSR Detection Devices. 

He has received awards from national and international scientific bodies, such as the International Union of Toxicology, USA, and is an active reviewer for SCI journals. Dr. Singh is also a member of several Professional Scientific Societies, including the Charted Society of Forensic Science and the Society of Toxicology of India.
