Dr. Richa Gupta, Programme Leader for the Department of Fashion Design at Amity University Dubai, has a Master's degree in Fashion Technology (MF Tech) from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). With over 25 years of experience in industry and academia, she has worked at various reputable organizations and universities in the UAE and India, including NIFT, Uniworth Group, Manipal University, and Kamal Osman Jam Joom Group.  

Dr. Gupta has also served as a project consultant in entrepreneurship, specializing in production planning, productivity analysis, market research, and launch strategies, where she demonstrated sound advisory and decision-making capabilities with informed analysis.

Dr. Gupta's published work includes coffee table books, articles in newspapers and magazines, and book chapters. She has authored several research papers published in international and Scopus indexed journals and filed two patents in the area of modest and sustainable fashion.  

She has conducted several workshops, seminars, and fashion shows, including the EXPO 2020 Khadi Fashion Show, the annual "GRADSHOW," and "FASTE" (Fashion, Made from Waste, with a Taste).
