Dr. Sagee is an Assistant Professor specialising in International and Corporate Laws and currently serves as the Programme Lead of Amity Law School. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from the prestigious National Law University, Delhi, where she researched "Violation of Human Rights by the Subsidiary of a Multinational Corporation: Liability of the Director of Parent Corporation." She also completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Economic Law (with Merit) from the University of Warwick, UK.
With a strong focus on curriculum development, teaching practices, and applied research, Dr. Sagee actively contributes to the field of law. Her areas of specialisation include International Law, Corporate Law, and Criminal Law. With seven years of industry experience in the UAE, working in a leading corporate law firm, and as a legal practitioner in India, she brings valuable practical insights to her teaching. Dr. Sagee has an excellent organisational skill set, professional competencies, and a deep understanding of teaching and learning processes. She actively contributes to program accreditation, curriculum benchmarking, and course reviews.
Dr. Sagee's extensive teaching experience spans reputable institutions such as NALSAR University of Law, India; Hidayatullah National Law University, India; Murdoch University, UAE; and she has also worked as a Tutor at the University College Dublin, Ireland.
Her passion for legal education is evident through her involvement in corporate training for lawyers and academicians, coaching students' moot court teams to success in various international and national competitions, and organising international moot court and client counselling competitions.
Dr. Sagee has numerous publications to her credit, including book publications, book chapters, and articles in renowned indexed journals such as Scopus and Thomas Reuters.
