Dr. Steffy Sara Varghese has been an Assistant Professor at Amity University Dubai since August 2024. She previously held research and teaching positions at Khalifa University, Mahatma Gandhi University, and the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism. Her research focuses on theoretical and computational modelling of space plasmas, with applications for satellites and atmospheric re-entry vehicles.
Dr. Steffy has received multiple accolades, including the Young Scientist Award from the International Union of Radio Science (2023) and the Dr D. S. Kothari Post-doctoral Fellowship (2021). She also attended NASA’s Heliophysics Summer School in 2019.
