With over 16 years of teaching experience, Dr. Swaroop Ramaswamy has served in reputed universities in India, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and the Sultanate of Oman before joining Amity University Dubai in 2012.

Dr. Ramaswamy is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in control systems. He earned his PhD in Control Systems (EEE) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, a premier institution in India, in 2005. Dr. Ramaswamy holds a master’s degree in control systems from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, and a B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, India.  

He has published 15 papers in journals of international repute and presented 17 papers in seminars and conferences conducted at various universities. Dr. Ramaswamy has completed two funded research projects, one patent, and won two IEEE Best Paper awards.  He is also a member of different professional bodies, including IEEE and IET.
