Dr. Ved Prakash Mishra is an Associate Professor and Programme Leader in Computer Science and Engineering at Amity University Dubai. He holds a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering (Network Security), an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. Dr. Mishra possesses a vast knowledge base covering the entire spectrum of Computer Applications.
Prior to joining Amity University Dubai in September 2011, he worked as an Assistant Professor and Program Leader in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Amity University Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Dr. Mishra is a senior member of IEEE, a Branch Counselor of the IEEE student chapter at Amity University Dubai, a Senior Member of IACSIT, and a lifetime member of IAENG. He has organised many IEEE-sponsored international Conferences in IEEE region 8 and 10 with different teams and roles like Conference chair (ICCIKE2019, ICCIKE2021 & ICCIKE2023), editor, organising committee member, Technical Program Committee member, etc.
He has published 50+ research papers in renowned Journals, Magazines, International conferences, and National conferences in his field. Dr. Mishra is also a guest editor and reviewer of some reputed Scopus indexed and SCI journals and books. His research interests include Network Security, Process Mining, Compiler Design, Data Structures, Data Science, and Algorithm Design.
