Ms. Amna Rafi Chaudhry is a Fulbright scholar with 15 years of collective professional experience in both academics and industry. She holds a postgraduate degree and possesses knowledge and expertise in applying strategies and policies, working in tandem with multiple layers of social, economic, ecological, and climate-responsive techniques. She has demonstrated strong leadership skills in managing multiple teams of subject experts. Ms. Amna is also a pioneering advocate for women in STEM, working to foster a more equitable, innovative, and impactful scientific community.


As a full-time Assistant Professor at Amity University, Dubai, in the School of Engineering, Architecture, and Interior Design, she specialises in Landscape Architecture and Urbanism. She has previously held teaching and managerial roles at other universities and has applied her expertise to notable large-scale landscape projects in the UAE.


As a grant holder of the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research, Ras Al Khaimah (2022-2024), she has developed framework-driven policy recommendations for "Enhancing the Urban Identity of Ras Al Khaimah through Street Corridors & Landscape." Additionally, she has been a prominent presenter at various international forums, such as the WFUF World Forum on Urban Forestry in Mantova, Italy (2018), and CELA, USA (Council for Educators in Landscape Architecture). Her research interests focus on promoting landscape architecture practices through the integration of artificial intelligence and sustainable development goals, thus advancing human-centric environments.

The research comprises of developing a set of framework driven policy recommendations extracted from field work, strategic drawings and meetings with policymakers.
