Ms. Corinne Martin is a highly experienced art educator and cultural practitioner with over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in education, the arts, and creative leadership across the Middle East. Her work emphasises curriculum innovation, teacher mentorship, and student engagement strategies that foster creativity, critical thinking, and global citizenship.
Her academic journey includes a Doctorate in Education (Emerging Technologies – in progress), a Master of Education from the American University in Dubai, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Communications from the University of Houston. She has designed and implemented curricula aligned with international standards, curated large-scale student exhibitions, and guided learners in achieving top results on international assessments.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Corinne Martin has contributed to international publications such as Canvas, Harper’s Bazaar Art, and Selections, and has held roles as a gallery director, collections manager, and cultural journalist. She is also an exhibiting artist, with a deep interest in bringing to light artists from the Middle East and the Arab world. Her practice merges global culture and Arab identity, exploring themes of nostalgia and globalization, and has been showcased in exhibition spaces, galleries, and major art fairs.
Her research focuses on the influence of art education on student well-being and, more recently, the impact of emerging technologies on student creativity. As part of this, she is passionate about the intersection of art education and innovation and remains dedicated to developing inclusive, meaningful learning experiences while contributing to the advancement of creative education in the UAE and beyond.
