Prof. Akram Masoud Haddad is an experienced Economics Specialist and Program Leader in Economics at Amity University Dubai. Born and raised in Jordan, he completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, PhD in Economics, and master’s degree in public administration from Nagpur University, India, between 1981 and 1992. Prof. Haddad began his career as a survey officer in the Department of Statistics in Jordan and also gained valuable experience in Sampling and Statistical Methods during his time at the US Census Bureau in the USA from 1997 to 1998.
Throughout his career, Prof. Haddad has held many administrative roles, including Associate Dean at American University in the Emirates (AUE), Dubai, UAE, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Vice Dean for Academic and Students Affairs, and Head of the Department of Financial and Administrative Sciences at Al Balqa'a Applied University, Jordan. He also served as Assistant Dean at Applied Statistic College, Jordan, among others. Prof. Haddad holds a professional certification of Certified Financial Manager (CFM) from The Institute of Certified Cost & Management Accountants USA.
An avid researcher, Prof. Haddad has published over 30 papers in leading national and international peer-reviewed high-impact factor Journals and conferences. His scholarly contributions to Research Scholarship were recognized with the "Distinguished Scholar Award by the European Journal of Scientific Research".
