Pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (Honors) at Amity University Dubai has paved the way for my career in management consulting.  The diverse range of subjects I studied, including Finance, Marketing, HR, and Management, has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in this industry.

Currently, I am working as a Support Consultant at Global Management Consultants, a business design company known for creating innovative solutions for organisations.  In my role, I am part of a team that performs data analysis, develops business strategies and processes, conducts market research, and provides extended support to our core consultants.  This position has allowed me to apply my skills and knowledge to real-world scenarios, contributing to the success of our government entity clients.

Throughout my career, I have achieved notable milestones, including being recognised as the employee of the month in August and October 2022.  These achievements resulted from my dedication, continuous learning, and the guidance of my supportive colleagues and mentors.

While studying at Amity University Dubai, I cherish the memories with my friends during our free periods and lunch breaks.  The thrill of cramming study sessions before end-term examinations created a sense of camaraderie among us.  Although exams were challenging, the support and shared struggles made the journey bearable.

My future career plans involve pursuing higher education and obtaining relevant qualifications that will open doors to further growth opportunities.  In ten years, I see myself working as a senior consultant or executive in a prestigious management-consulting firm in the UAE, contributing to the advancement of organisations and making a positive impact on their operations.

To those who wish to follow a similar career path, my advice is to remain open to opportunities and step out of your comfort zone.  Continuous self-improvement and the development of versatile skill sets are crucial for long-term success.  I highly recommend the management consulting industry to Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting students, as it offers a platform to expand knowledge and acquire essential skills for effective business operations.

When it comes to leaders I admire, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stands out.  His visionary leadership has transformed Dubai into a global hub of innovation and progress, inspiring countless individuals, including myself.

My journey from Amity University Dubai to the world of management consulting has been filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences.  The education and experiences gained have shaped my career aspirations, and I look forward to continuing my growth in this field.
