Dr. Priya is a distinguished academic with over 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and community service. She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics under the supervision of Professor Ray Richardson. Dr. Priya is an Academic Member of CIPD and a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Excellence Standards (FHEA). Her professional background encompasses curriculum development and academic accreditation at both national and international levels.


Her teaching spans both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with a focus on interdisciplinary areas such as management principles, organisational behaviour, ethics and governance, strategic management, innovation and entrepreneurship, and human resource management. Central to her teaching philosophy is a commitment to learner engagement and participation, emphasising the importance of active learning and competency-based approaches to enhance the student experience and prepare them for the workforce.


Dr. Priya's research philosophy is multidisciplinary, encompassing Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, and Teaching and Learning. Her research contributions have enriched her teaching, allowing her to integrate research-based content into the curriculum and bridge the gap between academia and industry. She has published in Scopus-indexed journals, conducted funded research at the university level, and contributed to academic conferences, serving both as Chair and a member of the organising committee.
