On July 15, 2024, Amity University Dubai hosted the "SMART CSI: Hands-On Training with Next-Generation Forensic Technologies Workshop." Organised by the Forensic Science Department, the event focused on advanced crime scene investigation techniques.
Representatives from the Ministry of Interior, Abu Dhabi Police, Sharjah Police, Ras Al Khaimah Police, Ajman Police, Fujairah Police, and Umm Al Quwain Police attended the workshop. Participants received hands-on training and interacted with experts from Integrated Gulf Biosystems Group, SceneSafe, Scientific Analytical Tools (SAT), and Business Communications LLC (BCL).
The workshop provided attendees with the opportunity to learn and practice using the latest forensic technologies. Interactive sessions allowed crime scene investigators to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they were well-equipped to tackle modern forensic challenges.
