Amity University Dubai Shines at Global AI Hackathon with Top UAE Ranking

In a remarkable display of innovation and technical excellence, students from Amity University Dubai’s School of Engineering, Architecture & Interior Design have made their mark on the global stage. The talented team secured 4th place internationally at the prestigious Dragon Oil Annual AI Hackathon, held as part of the GOTECH 2025 Conference.
The event brought together 123 competitive teams from around the world, challenging participants to solve real-world problems using artificial intelligence. Representing both their university and the UAE, the Amity University Dubai team stood out for their innovative AI-based solution designed to optimise oil production using predictive modeling techniques.
Comprising students Yash Kamble, Aqsa Khan, Visista Jayanti, and Hajara Sabnam Kareem Navaz, the team impressed judges and industry experts with their project. Their solution not only demonstrated a deep understanding of AI technologies but also showcased a practical approach to addressing critical challenges in energy management.
