The objective of summer
training is to focus on many latent attributes, which do not surface in
the normal classroom situations. These attributes are intellectual
ability, professional judgment and decision-making ability,
inter-disciplinary approach, skills for data handling, ability in
written and oral presentation, sense of responsibility etc.

TTA322 Ethical and Legal Aspects of Tourism Business
To
deal with business laws and ethics in general and tourism and travel in
particular. To help in understanding the various rules, regulations,
laws, and acts prescribed under various legislation in relation to
travel and tourism related industries.
TTA326 Entrepreneurship Development in Tourism
To
make student understand how to develop new venture, business plan. To
familiarize the students about legal aspects, competitive aspects
related to setting up their own enterprise or their own business. To
familiarize the students about the key elements in order to become
successful entrepreneur in the coming times.
TTA332 Introduction to Cargo Management
To
prepare the students to enter in Cargo Handling agencies with
well-versed knowledge. To help the students to understand the basics and
documentation involved in the movement of cargo by sea and air mode.
TTA337 MICE Management
To
apprise the students about the utilities of event business and role of
event planner in making event a success. To help the students to attain
the basics skills for organizing, conferences, events, festivals etc. To
understand the nature of MICE management.

To
enable students to recognize various impacts of tourism and gain
knowledge about forms of sustainability. To gain high level of
competence in knowledge on principles of sustainable tourism

familiarize the students with the basics of research and its importance
in travel trade. Students will get knowledge about data, data
