Dubai, UAE - Amity University Dubai proudly concludes its inaugural event, The Future of School Counselling: The Power of AI & Active Learning, held on the 30th of April, 2024. The event marked a significant milestone in the evolution of educational practices, particularly in school counselling.
The event was inaugurated by Her Excellency Aisha Miran, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), emphasising the collaborative effort towards shaping the future of education in the UAE. Joined by esteemed officials, the event underscored the commitment of educational stakeholders to embrace technological advancements to enhance student outcomes.
The event featured a panel discussion on Empowering Success through Active Learning: Unveiling Impact on Student Achievements. Panellists included Sangita Chima, Principal of Amity School Dubai; Muhammed Afzal, Principal of English Language Private School Dubai; Bipin Bhadran, Managing Director of Education Design International; Malek Ahmad, Principal of Dubai National School; Rommel Pelayo, Vice Principal of Emirates American School; and Ruth Burke, Principal of Swiss International School. Moderated by Mehrdad Mohasses, Director of the Centre for Teaching & Learning at Amity University Dubai, the panel explored active learning methodologies, artificial intelligence, and student success.
