Amity University Dubai proudly showcased the talent of its final-year Aerospace Engineering students at the highly anticipated Global Aerospace Summit 2024. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Sarath Raj, these aspiring engineers presented their groundbreaking projects on September 26, 2024, at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi.
This prestigious summit provided an exceptional platform for students to unveil their innovative ideas alongside industry leaders and aerospace experts. Among the standout projects were:
1. Martian Auroral Dynamics
Fawzan Mohamed and Nuha Sami captivated attendees with their research on the changes in H+ ion concentration, a vital element of the auroral formation on Mars. By leveraging data from significant missions such as the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM), Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN), and the Time History of Events and Macroscale Interactions during Substorms (THEMIS), they explored the complex dynamics of the Martian aura.
2. Optimising Solar Energy Capture
In an effort to advance sustainable energy solutions, Muvisha Ajay and Christina Philip focused on enhancing solar energy harvesting. Their project aimed to optimise solar energy capture efficiency, paving the way for innovative technologies that can transform the renewable energy landscape.
Amity University Dubai is committed to fostering innovation and excellence in engineering education. These remarkable student achievements at the Global Aerospace Summit reflect the university's dedication to shaping the future of aerospace and sustainability.
