The Leadership Masterclass Series titled “Galadari Engineering - Inspiring Junior Pioneers”, led by Mr. Amir Daoud, CEO of Galadari Engineering Works UAE was organised by the Sustainability in Practice (SiP) Committee within the School of Engineering, Architecture and Interior Design (EAID) at Amity University Dubai. The event aimed to inspire future leaders in the engineering field.
Mr. Amir holds an Executive Master of Business Administration with Distinction from the American University of Sharjah and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University. As the CEO of Galadari Engineering, he shared his extensive experience in revitalising organisations across various sectors, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, and transportation. His insights emphasised the importance of hands-on experience to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Additionally, Mr. Amir participated in the EAID Industry Leadership Meeting, discussing essential skills for mechanical and aerospace engineering students. The event concluded with Dr. Sathish Kannan, Dean of EAID, presenting a token of appreciation to Mr. Amir, alongside the SiP Committee team and faculty members, recognising the value of leadership development in engineering education.
