All applicants must score a minimum of 80 in the NATA test. Students from all curriculum need to have studied higher level Maths with a minimum 55% aggregate score. A minimum 50% aggregate in CBSE grades X & XII, or the equivalent from alternative schools, is required.

What will students learn?

Students will learn how to create architectural designs that satisfy both aesthetics and technical requirements by studying history and the theories of architecture and the related arts, technologies, and human sciences.

There will be an understanding of the relationship between people and buildings, and between buildings and their environment, as well as the need to relate buildings and the spaces between them to human needs and scale.

A greater understanding of the architectural profession will be evident, particularly in preparing briefs that take into account social factors.

Students will learn about the methods of investigation and preparation of the brief for a design project with knowledge of the structural design, constructional, and engineering problems associated with building design.
Students will develop knowledge of physical problems and technologies and the function of buildings in order to gain an understanding of internal conditions of comfort and protection against the climate.
Students will learn about the design skills necessary to meet building users' requirements within the constraints of cost factors, building regulations and limitations with regards to geographical location and prevailing microclimate.
Students will learn about the various regulations and procedures involved in translating design concepts into buildings and integrating plans into overall planning.
Sensitivity towards concerns for environmental and energy issues. To reinforce intellectual capabilities and develop proficiency in professional skills to enable graduates to competently pursue alternative careers, within the broad spectrum of architecture and also provide opportunities to students to try out the role they will eventually play as responsible members of society, under supervision and interactive guidance.
